Power Mode Tip Jar
Tired of waiting for Power Mode? Hatchlings has a way to boost the Power Meter by donating shells.
How does it work?
The Power Meter will still calculate a goal based on the number of players normally online at that time of day, but now instead of only having the option to “Rally Troops” and get your friends to join to help reach the goal, you’ll be able to donate shells to boost the meter. Each shell you donate will boost the meter by one “player” for 5 minutes.
Huh? Give me some examples.
If you tip 5 shells, that’ll boost the meter as though 5 more players were playing, and that boost will last for 5 minutes. If you tip 100 shells, that will tip the meter as though 100 extra players were playing for the next 5 minutes.
What happens if I donate more shells than we need to activate Power Mode?
If you tip more shells than the number of players needed to activate Power Mode, your donation will extend the amount of time the boost lasts.
Is the boost just for me? Or does it help everyone?
When you tip the Power Meter, you’re helping everyone get closer to being able to hunt in Power Mode. We’ve even created a notice that will appear in chat so that you can thank the generous players who tip the meter!
